February 2012 - CLASSES COMING TO GREENWICH, SE10
Funky Monkey is having a growing spurt! Following the success of the launch of Stockwell and Pembury, we are in talks with Greenwich West Community Centre to secure a room to teach our great classes. This will help bridge the gap between Blackheath, Woolwich, Plumstead and Greenwich. A great bohemian hotspot with the Naval College, Trinity College of Music and countless other London landmarks, what better place to inspire children to learn?
November 2011 - A NEW CENTRE FOR SOUTH WEST LONDON
We are delighted to add St Francis De Sales Church, Larkhall Lane, Stockwell, SW4 to our list of centres in the SE/SW London area. Classes are currently running on Monday but are already full. Call us to register your interest and we'll open another day!
September 2011 - CLASSES COMING TO PEMBURY, Nr TUNBRIDGE WELLS, KENT, FOR SEPTEMBER
We have secured a site and a fantastic ex-London Funky Monkey teacher to take classes in Pembury, near Tunbridge Wells from September 2011. Watch out for the Funky Monkey car whizzing up and down the A21 as we prepare to launch our classes!
September 2011 - FUNKY MONKEY HAS SWUNG BACK TO BLACKHEATH!
Due to popular demand our classes have returned to John Ball School, near Blackheath Station on Fridays. You don't have to be a pupil at the school, so do call us for a FREE TRIAL
CONCERT FOR OUR DULWICH TALENT
Funky Monkey pupils past and present have been selected to perform in the 10 year anniversary concert for the Fair Trade Centre in East Dulwich on Saturday 24th September. Local dignitories have been invited along with noteable members of the local community, so we are hoping to make a great impression! June 2011 - FRANCISCAN/PEMBURY PRIMARY SCHOOL - A NEW PROJECT!
The Head of Fransican Primary School in Tooting and the Music Co-ordinator at Pembury School have recently invited Funky Monkey to start after school classes on site. We hope to inspire many children there to enjoy making music the Funky Monkey way. Tell your school all about us!
